Manners and AMAZING AWESOME VERY EXCITING B NEWS

Alright, I'm super annpyed with parents.

Please tell me, list friends, that you teach your children the importance of manners.

I swear.to.god this is a lost artform or something.

here are two instances that happend yesterday that had me so upset on our way home my husband told me to breathe.

Oh don't get me started on manners or I will get as upset as you. I think the main problem is that sadly adults no longer possess manners themselves. They see no reason to teach manners since it does not dawn on them to use manners themselves. My son knows to say please and thank you. He knows to apologize even when he is embarrassed or the action kills him. LOL It is hard to apologize sometimes. I understand that...especially when embarrassed...but I have explained to him that it often makes the other person feel better which is important. Feelings.

WTG B!!!!! What an awesome program. You must share details during the school year!

I will. Im so excited for him. its sept. 2nd to the last day of May. its tues/thurs. Also, there are only 10 kids in each "class" and there is only a AM and PM class. There are FOUR teachers. I asked if they wer "Teachers" or real certified teachers, and they are the latter, so how much cooler could that be ( ... )

oh I TOTALLY agree with you. I Was MOST upset with the parents! *Growls*

and I do the same thing yu do.. even with friends kids. if they ask and dont use manners I say "what do you say?" and if they wont/dont, welp, Im the big B*&ch that wont give them whatever it is...
I also do the "I cant hear you when your screaming/being rude/whatever" and ignore thing...

This sense of entitlement people have makes me naucious!

Wow that is just crazy. My gripe is usually about how parents don't watch their kids....but I can't imagine dealing with what you did there! They are lucky it was you that they did that to, because I know more than one person who would have made a huge scene over it.
Congrats on the pre-school acceptance...that is just great!!

My husband said that he notices when we go to Reds games I always come away disgusted at parents!!
