oh and the manners thing...

When B gets his progress reports from Ginghamsburg we ALWAYS get "he has the best manners we have seen for a child his age" an dhas since he was TWO. WTF?! I mean seriously, it shouldnt be outstanding that he says please and thankyou, excuse me, no thank you, sure I will when asked to do something. He opens doors for women and he always helps put things away and these are considered "Rare". WHat is our society become?! and it starts at home.
someone I know that has children my sons age said to me, when we were teaching him manners before he coudl speak (he used sign) Why are you teaching him taht now, he has a lifetime to learn? and I disagreed with her...and I still do. MANNERS are a LIFE building block! I want them to be second nature for him...and they seem to be.
Like you with G. When I take him out, I am generally so very proud to be his momma. *if hes tired, look out world :)*
