Oh my goodness, I have never in my life before had freshly grated nutmeg, and it simply one of the best smelling and tasting things I have ever experienced in my life! I also just found the recipe for one of the simplest and most delicious desserts I've ever had - which uses said freshly ground nutmeg.

I just had some friends over and made the yummiest dinner I've had in ages - Pan-fried salmon with a champagne, shallot, tomato and tarragon sauce. With boiled baby new Dutch gold potatoes with melting peppercorn peppered percorino cheese and salty butter. A really simple salad of baby spinach leaves and aged, syrupy blasamic vinegar.
