Tonight I looked up from reading George R. R. Martin and glanced at the tv, which had a Wheel of Fortune puzzle underway:

I'm sure they had no idea that "BOATS DOCKING AT THE MARINA" would, in media res, look so much like, "GOATS FUCKING AT THE VAGINA." Perfectly innocent.

I'm reading the last of the ASOIAF books published--I was holding off for ages, because I know wherever GRRM leaves us, there's gonna be a wait until the next one, and I thought I might try to wait until the next one's at least got a release date. But I saw ADwD sitting on the shelf at the library--not even the "Rental" shelf or the "Two Weeks" shelf, just the regular "I am not even on a wait list, you can check me out and keep me three weeks" shelf, and decided that meant I'd waited long enough and should read the bugger.
