My best effort: "A very short man has a ring that his uncle found. The ring is very bad. The man takes the ring far away to a bad, dark place to break it. His friend (or boyfriend?) and some other men go with him. They have lots of fights and one of them dies. The short man is not able to break the ring because it is so bad. Someone else does (they do not mean to), but the short man gets bit on the finger. Then he goes home."

(I feel like being able to say "ring" is kind of an unfair advantage.)

I side-eye the up-goer five list so hard, but the meme is AMAZING.

Making them funny requires a great touch, and so many of them have that touch.

OMG, this is hysterical. The original xkcd comic was great, but the fandom response is making me giggle uncontrollably. :D
