Stomach-roiling GoF anticipation

Seven hours 'til showtime. Eee.

Is anyone else like me--so worked up that now they don't want the film to be here this soon? That they want to wait a little longer so that it's not over with? I was like this for the Azkaban film and for both of the previous books.

And then we'll all be talking about OotP and dying because that seems so far away...

I'm going to see it in... about 3 hours! I'm a little put off by the idea of seeing it with a theater full of kids, and I don't think the PG-13 rating will help with that. Not here(small town in Georgia), anyway. Our viewing of Batman Begins, also PG-13, was full of kids - - little kids.

Two of them - - 3 or 4 year old twins - - nearly ruined it for me. They ran up and down our row, shrieking, climbing on the seats, and their parents somehow managed to ignore them. I didn't complain then, but if *anyone* impairs my ability to see Severus and Lucius in peace, God help them.

I told my husband my idea for a petition for adults-only showings of Harry Potter(and any "kid" movie I want to see). He thought I was kidding.

Anyway, rant over, back to your normal LJ programming.

2 hours and 55 minutes!

Yeah, I think sometimes you have to make your own adults-only showing by not going during the likeliest kid-full times. But even that doesn't deter them! Ten p.m., and there's all these kids up past their bedtimes, dagnabbit.

It was fantastic! Much, much better than GoF. The new director rocks.
