I have had friends in town for the past few days, which has been great, but stressful. At the very least, it was two more pairs of hands to hold the baby when I had to run down to the basement to move the laundry around or feed her sweet potatoes while I caught a (longer than usual) shower

Oh, we had some car ride issues, but we got here in one piece and she's blissfully asleep.

I should never, ever say out loud, "I hope she doesn't sleep too much on the trip. She might have trouble going to bed that night." Karma overheard that and decided to fix it so she wouldn't sleep more than an hour of the car ride, making her cranky during the ride and punchy awake baby once we got here.

Turns out the hotel has wireless internet! Score. Something to do when I'm here with her during her nap tomorrow and the next day.

So, like, write something for me to read and stuff. :)

All right! Glad to hear it turned out fairly well.

Sadly, I may be too busy with stuff to write for the next few days, but if you're that desperate (*wink*) I'll pass on a couple of links to things you may or may not have seen before. Including one I promised weeks ago.
