You buried the lead! Potty training YAY! That is a major accomplishment for you both, for real!

Also, sorry about the iron and associated junk. Any indication that it's helping?

Haahahah she's actually been trained for several months. Mum bought her panties one day and put themon her and only one accident since then. I put a diaper on her at night but most mornings it's dry. At this point I'm just using them up.

I have no idea if the iron is helping. I think it's too early. We'll see.

I HATE waiting to see if things are helping. Bah!

The only good thing about The Boy's ADD diagnoses (aside from getting him help, of course) is that when we reluctantly agreed to try medication it was obvious on THE FIRST DAY that it was helping. Honestly, it was obvious within a couple of hours and then it was just a matter if finagling the dosage.

I want that kind of immediate clarity for everything.

LOL yeah, I heave heard that re: ritalin. My brother was on it and it was easy to tell when he wasn't taking it.

Oh man, they used to have dragon rides like that at Land of Make Believe (my favorite trip every summer between the ages of 4-ish and 11-ish) and that photo just brought back a boat load of memories.

Land of make believe. Funny you should mention that since this ride was right next to mister roger's neighborhood.

I think that is my favorite icon of yours! I love it so.

Ugh, I'm tired. It's almost 100 degrees outside. It's about that where you are, too. This is way too hot. There's a reason I didn't move to Doha to live w/ my brother.

I am sending you good vibes for the writing. Massive good vibes, flowing from me to you and back again.

I've read "I was Told There Would Be Cake" - it's amusing enough but you're not missing much if you don't finish it.

Kidlet is the cutest thing ever!

I read the first essay, and I think I might be a little jealous of her ability with words and humour, but I'm not sure if I jealous or bored.

Fans of your writing of which there are dozens will not forget you. So toss that fear aside. Keep talking about your project--125k is impressive as hell, especially as it is not just one story. What I've seen, I've enjoyed the FIRE out of.

You might be wrong about your werewolf story, you know. Werewolves are extremely popular, and now is a great time to finish that and get it out there. At least try first before you self-publish. Seriously!

YAY for kidlet doing so well with the panties. Good for her.

Weight loss. I managed to get 10 off, but have been bouncing around 5.5 lbs. over what I was back when we talked about it last. Annoying! *shakes fist* I know what it is in my case--sitting on my butt too much, home and work, home and work. On butt. Ignoring treadmill.

Yeah man, I am stuck at 160. sometimes I go down. Sometimes I go up. But 160 is where I hover.

I sense drastic measures are being called for.

It's time to try to get a tapeworm.
