HOLY CRAP! I want a snowstorm. We've had a total of about five inches so far.

And you need a fondue pot. INDESPENSABLE.

THE FONDUE POT ONLY WORKS IF YOU HAVE A MEANS OF HEATING IT.

I HAVE AN ELECTRIC STOVE. WHEN i GOT UP, THE VACUUM SIPHON MOCKED ME: "WELL I COULD MAKE YOU COFFEE, IF YOU HAD POWER."

*FIST SHAKE*

BARROWMAN!

It is from David Tennant's appearance on Never Mind the Buzzcocks. He does it.

Mind you, I haven't actually seen it. I'm just a sheeple.

We, thankfully, have not lost power for more than a split second. Our cables are all underground and we'd have to lose a junction box for it to go. *knocks on wood* Glad yours is back on. This is one of the reasons that I really wanted a place with a gas stove. Next plan is to get a wood burning stove installed instead of a fireplace we never use. This will guarantee that we don't get snow like this again for at least a decade.

I think when it comes to snow piles, it's only parenting fail if you encourage her to dig tunnels in them because that's supposed to be dangerous. The kids in my neighborhood played king of the hill on the piles in the grocery store parking lots for years without major injury.

It was fun to watch her get so har up and then dlide all the way down on her belly.

I think my parent fail arose when she wanted to make snow angels, but all the snow was too high, so i picked her up and threw her in a big drift.

oh the lulz.

or me, anyway.

Oh come on! My dad and I would take walks when I was a kid, and he would do that frequently! This was both in Upper Michigan and Wisconsin, lands of cold and snow.
