Many, many after hours parties at the ole watering hole where I first worked were fueled by keoke coffees--there's a lot of regional variations, but the spud version had brandy, kahlua and creme de cacao, topped off by coffee (whipped cream optional.) There's a lot of mileage in that drink, depending on your caffeine tolerance. If I was going for glory, new rounds were best tempered by a beer back between midnight and four. After that, all bets are off.

I'm pretty sure I remember him being there one night. But there was Coors on tap, I think he disapproved.

I have never even had a Tom Collins. Though I did have gin for the first time over Thanksgiving and I wasn't impressed, though I think I might like it better in drinks made for gin. Rather than mixed with diet Coke, lol.

But the next time I'm at your house, we should make the Vodka Collins. I do like a Lemon Drop, though. So this sounds appealing to me.

I had gin and tonic (from a can!) for the first time in October (it was crue's fault!), and it was okay. I might have to try a real one to be sure.
