Holiday Drinks!
Hello flisters! So. I love cocktails when other people make them for me, and I like making them, if I have a reason. Like Holidays! Woo! And I know y'all agree. So I'm going to share some cocktail recipes with you, and maybe you'll share some in the comments! What do you make on the holidays? What have you always wanted to try? Got something special your family and friends make? Planning on trying something new this year? Post it here!
POMEGRANATE COCKTAIL-
2 cups pomegranate juice
1 cup grenadine
1.5 cups vodka
1 cup fresh OJ (from blood oranges if available)
0.5 cup lime juice
Mix and proceed to be knocked on your arse. (This is actually one of my favorite drinks in the universe.)
TRUE BLOOD COCKTAIL-from Colin, the proprietor of the Shooting Star in Southhampton, UK:
1 Cherry VK (or any other cherry flavour alcopop)
1 shot vodka
1 shot dark rum
1 shot blackcurrant cordial
Top up with coke
Serve in pint glass with ice.
Have fun brushing your teeth later! To make it more holiday like, I suppose we could rename it the Bloody Reindeer, but I think we should just give Colin his due.
THAT SCARY ASS VANILLA VODKA-
Put fresh vanilla beans in a bottle of vodka. Marinate for a billion years. Use TARDIS to go forward in time to retrieve bottle. Drink. Get wasted.
So there you have it! Go forth and share! Or is it go shorth and fare? Or what? Oh? *hic*
