I love Halloween, not merely because it is a holiday of community togetherness and chocolate, but because I love getting in costumes. Leigh is more neutral on the subject, in that she is lazy has no intrinsic desire to dress up. Luckily for me, she is willing to engage in costumed adventures when nagged encouraged

I went over and looked at Isk's picture as a giant veggie. He looks so adorable. I can't wait for grandkids, but so far, not even a girlfriend is lurking on the horizon. Another late bloomer, son_of_wendelah takes after his dad, I'm afraid.

Most days I think I'm too young to be married, let alone have a kid. I want to attach a warning sign to my life: These stunts performed by trained professionals. Don't try this at home.

My mom is really enjoying grandma duty. (Her second, but my sister lives far away, and they didn't have a great relationship when my nephew was born, so she didn't get to spend much baby-time with him.) I'm just glad she's not driving Leigh crazy.
