Did I tell you my parents bought a 24 acre farm in rural New Hampshire? No? Well my parents (who aren't exactly farmers by any stretch of the imagination) just bought a 24 acre farm in New Hampshire. I foresee livestock in their future. I will remind them of Craigslist.

Having spent time at a vacation resort that had peacocks strolling the grounds, I can verify that they make a HORRIBLE noise. Like rabbits being killed, that sort of noise. In the middle of the night. Creepy.
I've wanted chickens forever. (Four blocks from here, you can keep chickens. Here? Not so much. Arbitrary rules are arbitrary). Who would not want chickens that look like THIS running around the yard?

I am continually deluded about the fact that I actually live in a town, with a tiny itty bitty yard, even though the town is five minutes from farms.
