But did she walk into the fireplace when there was a fire burning in there? :) That branch bed does not look comfortable at all! I haven't had a Christmas tree in 11 years - since I had cats. I like your wall wreaths alternative.

No, she has walked close to it, but I always keep the wire screen closed over it, for all the animals' sakes. Taji is definitely not the brightest....

Other than the first day when one of the hooks came unstuck and a wreath fell, it has been a good alternative so far.

The first one scares me as I am afraid that I am going to accident trap Charlie in the dryer....

I think with our current situation (laundry closet) that Mika couldn't get it without us noticing, but I would definitely be worried about it if we had a house.
I was so afraid that she would move before I got a picture of her sleeping in the wreaths, but now it is captured for all time. :)
