I've been there and as you know, I chose a period of time to just heal. That period became a comfortable isolation which after 5 year became insuffurable.

I learned one thing, although I began more guarded (pain and life teaches us to be protective)evetuanlly I had to be true to myself and just be me. That meant getting hurt again but accepting that it was possible.

Lucky for me that chance I took in Amo was a good one. Don't give up ;-)
