Inspired by euclase, I took photos of my bookshelves. I'm afraid they're not super interesting because I do organize everything alphabetically by author's last name (with the exception of a few biographies that get filed by subject.)

You're so lucky to actually have shelves. I have my paperback collection stacked 2 deep in the cabinets at the bottom of the big shelving units (my parents were heavily into dark spanish style). And there are several boxes in the attic. Between the cookbook collection, my mysteries, the histories ... I have no room. :( Let's not even start discussing my dvds and cds.
