Inspired by
euclase, I took photos of my bookshelves. I'm afraid they're not super interesting because I do organize everything alphabetically by author's last name (with the exception of a few biographies that get filed by subject.)
Most of these shelves hold Simone de Beauvoir books.
The pair of older books (top right-ish) are a two volume set of Byron's 'Childe Harold's Pilgrimmage' from 1881 that I picked up on eBay for a steal.
My larger books and Macworld and MacLife magazine subscriptions are on the bottom shelf.
A little bit of manga (Hellsing) and some more vampire stuff with Laurel K Hamilton.
Yes, I own all the Twilight novels.
Lots of Anne Rice, plus all the Harry Potter series, and the start of my Marquis de Sade collection.
More de Sade, and also a selection of novels by Anya Seton (her books were out of print, but I have recently seen them in the bookstore, so I guess they are back in print?)
Chelsea Quinn Yarbro's Saint-Germain novels mostly.
Fantasy novels that I didn't have space for in their proper places, plus my LP collection.
Also, here's a couple pics of the cats that are recent....
(She did sit like this for a couple minutes, looking rather bemused.)
Pandora showing her full length this afternoon.
