Saturday was the last time the Otakon staff met before the convention, a session traditionally known as the Panic Meeting. It was held at the Holiday Inn in Baltimore's Inner Harbor. The Gryphon and I got a ride down with The Dormouse on a wretchedly hot day, which is probably what we can expect at Otakon itself in a couple weeks.

Just a correction, the meeting was at the Holiday Inn, not Days..

And sorry if I wasn't talktive that much either...I was pre-occupied with a gagillion thoughts and kinda in a spaced out mood.

Totally sending good vibes to the dog, and I'm wondering which of the two gents I know, one of whom is former con-chair, is the Doormouse, and which is the Cheshire cat!

Also, I agree. You are very cool. *nodnod* I wish I could interact with you more, for you were that nifty, just from my talking with you. (Your husband is also teh nifty. *nodnod*)

...I admit, I'm wondering how you'd name me in the abstract... *blush*

I am also somewhat glad to not BE staff, and just be a LARP pawn. I also suspect the Actor is who I'll be doing newbie tutorials with, so hope to hear from and meet him soon. I have heard good things about him, and as I've found out over my years of assoc. with Teflon_tim, his friends are pretty darn cool. ^_^

You were right in surmising that Teflon Tim is The Dormouse, while The Cheshire Cat is the guy who developed the game system (a.k.a. electroweak). I readily confess to being one of Teflon Tim's "cool" friends.

As far as a nickname for you, I haven't come up with one yet. The only time I wrote about you was during last year's Otakon, before I had a LJ. You can read it here: http://www.alycewilson.com/july07/otakon07_3.htm

Usually, I don't come up with a nickname until it's absolutely necessary to save confusion. One of these days, I'm going to publish a guide to all the nicknames and what they mean.

Thanks for the good thoughts on my mom's dog. She just updated me today, telling me that the surgery went well and she's waiting for the results of the biopsy. Sunnie is back home, being her usual sweet, spoiled self.
