The fact that you can't is the critical realization. We cannot protect him from the choices that he'll have to make. We can only teach him how to make the right choices, praise him when he makes the right ones, and support him when he makes the wrong ones.

This is great. I was not raised on all natural foods and things like that the way you were. I think it is great that your folks did that with you and your brother. I am sure you two will do your very best with raising your son. It is not easy in this day and age to raise children. Do your best with what you are comfortible with and hopefull he will turn out a great guy.

On a side note? The Gryphon is cute. LOL!
