Saturday was the second day of Com Con, the annual Otakon staff retreat, the day of the big business meeting as well as small group meetings and socializing.
Grabbed some of your pics for my album, if that's ok. You got some GREAT shots. Also, the person with the great-crime-scene scarf is Ina(Sp?) who is one of Gofer-Ops' people. (She might be dept. head, depending on what ended up happening with that situation...)
She's a sweetheart, and Regan and I roomed with her last Otakon--it worked out very well.
Ah, you must have forgotten that I deliberately don't use real names on my journal. Yes, I know who that is, but I don't currently have a nickname for her, so I just called her a staffer. And yes, I know that she might be running Gofer Ops this year. In fact, I recommended her for it. I first befriended her about four years ago, when I was a Reg Lieutenant and she was a gofer under me. Full of energy and very capable! Love her to pieces.
And so shall it be! I was just waiting until a good nickname occurred to me for him. That's a good one.
BTW, his antics of cutting plastic animals in half were relayed to me by two different people on Saturday. One of them told me that, after this particular person had complained about him mutilating the plastic animals, he'd sent them a collie head. He does have a marvelous sense of humor.
It started because he was bored, and kind of became tradition. He *almost* did it again this year, but restrained himself. He even told Sue that he wanted the figure she took away from him three years ago. To his credit, we *do* still have the german shepherd figure from three or four years ago on our figurines shelf. :D

I was trying to be helpful, that's all. Forgive my blunder.

Especially now that Jay doesn't cut them into mini resin kits. ;)
I'd've thought his nickname would be Dr. No, actually. :D
