A Taste of Chinatown

Sunday morning we went into Chinatown for dim sum, which is where the wait staff brings you little plates of things to try until you tell them you're done.

If I was to ever make it to New York, I would love to have somone like you as a tour guide. It was fun reading about the trip. The photos again were great.

Thank you! I wouldn't be a great tour guide, though. My friend, The World Traveler, was the one who did all the planning. I'm indebted to her for making our trip so much fun.

It was! My husband got tired by the end of it; he's a bit less adventurous than I am. Still, he enjoyed sampling the different types of food.

Sounds like loads of fun. The only china town I have been to is the one in SanFransisco.

I love dried strawberries as well. they are great in cereal.

I grew up in California just a few hours from San Fran so we went often enough.

Last time I had Dim Sum was at Ocean City. Our Chinese coworker would talk to the servers, food would appear, then we would attempt to figure out what we were eating.

Having food just appear seems so decadent. They marked our bill with a smiley face for every plate we took. That was one happy bill.
