Ugh, I'm sorry if my comment caused you grief, hon, it was never my intention! But like I said, I know how hard you worked on this story and how invested you were in it--there's nothing stopping you from going back and making it the story you originally intended, even if it means, idk, posting a not-sequel? It's your story, do what makes you happy with it!

I haven't read your story yet (I have so many BBBs bookmarked!) but I agree with everyone that you should edit it. It's your story! You should be happy with it, right? You could post it as an alternate version? Or a writer's cut!
