So, that one movie, yeah? Have you seen it yet? You should. :D

I'm sitting outside on my patio as I type this. The weather's been GLORIOUS this weekend. There was a failed kite-flying attempt yesterday, and today would've been much more suited for it, but alas. I had no one to do it with today. :(

the rest of this post is full of spoilers for WATCHMEN )

entertainment, moves: quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

I waited to read this entry till tonight since I just got to watch the movie. I have to admit, I never read the novel, I will now of course. But Seth knows it and clued me in to little things. I loved Rorschach as a character, but then again I am a Psychology major :)

Where did you get your icons for Watchmen, did they come from a community, or linked to one? I'd love a Rorschach one.

The novel is...amazing. Like the movie is, too, but they're both amazing for different reasons, so yeah. Definitely worth reading. Rorschach is one crazy guy. But in a good way...haha.

Let's see. The icons I've found and liked came from watchmenicons I think, but you can also check watchdom and we_watch. Although I think the three communities get A LOT of cross posting, so you may just find the same thing three times. But those are the best comms I've found.

Um. I LOVED THE WATCHMEN. Didn't expect that. I've only flipped through Clint's copy of the book and listened to him ramble about it, rolling my eyes... but I loved the movie. Some gory bits were too much for me, but I actually want to see it again before it's gone.

YES. You definitely need to read the novel. There's just SO MUCH to it that could never fit in the movie. I will agree, though, some of the gore (like the man's hands getting sawed off?) SO NOT NEEDED.
