why NOT link into an american company? or even start your own? you could be the person that changes the face of the business and makes it operate like the more successful companies abroad.

the line of reasoning I was given is that a foreign language under my belt at an American company isn't as valuable as being a native English speaker who is fluent in another language working for a foreign company. Also, I'm not interested in starting my own company... yet.

i can see that point i guess. it's so much cooler in the US, though. duh. we have miley cyrus, everything deep fried, and high fructose corn syrup.
