Slept all day due to mild illness + snow day. Want to get a full night's sleep and wake renewed, work out, and have an awesome Thursday-start-of-weekend day, but that probably won't happen.

Yesterday in my capstone management class there was a guest speaker. He speaks English (naturally), fluent French, decent German, and OK Japanese. He has lived in France, Switzerland, Germany, and Japan and has held the position of project manager for a number of multinational firms over the last 30 years. He mentioned having a wife who is also a language buff. At the end of his lecture we were given the opportunity to field questions, and because I didn't want to ask him, "How did you manage to live my ideal life before I've lived it?" I instead asked, "What steps did you take other than studying/living abroad in order to become an international manager?" Before he could give me a vague, lousy answer of "try not to work for an American company," he repeated some of the life-wisdom he had already provided earlier in his lecture. Ah well, at least I got some further reinforcement that the path I've chosen in life has worked [seemingly well] for someone.
