I finally gave into plant lust yesterday. It was my day off and thanks to the government I got a tax return on Saturday. Normally that would mean I would spend a bit more and buy myself something to eat, but on Friday I got another plant catalogue. It was too much for me to take. our dafadills are totally in full bloom, I already have rosebuds. My Jap maple is unfurling its leaves in the bright firework explosion that only jap maples know how to do oh so well. My canis are coming up and the flowering ginger ought to bloom in about two weeks if it stay warm.

Gardners are infamous for stealing other people's metaphors. I applaud you in pilfering from my LJ. Also, if you have just a vagina does that only permit you to set foot in the entrance of a Lowe's and wait for someone with male genitalia to escourt you to the tool section for it to seem gender appropriate? I am glad to see someone in the world can poke fun at chauvinism. Good luck with your plants and may the outcome be fruitful.

why would a vagina want to be at lowes? First off its just one phallius after another, we the penis holders are used to seeing peni all over the place. Its why we have lamps, secondly its a vagina. What is a vagina doing walking around?

Also if a vagina happened to stumble into lowes or any hardware store really, she would just be leered at, much like if she went to a D&D convention. She would have to wear none-slip shoes (assuming vaginas have legs and feet)

I want fruit trees badly. I live in an area where I can grow quite a few and really, I can't wait.

None-slip shoes? Hmmm...I am not sure I have a retort for that one. Fruit trees in the spring time...is there a greater sight? (That in fact was meant to be rhetorical in case you thought to give me some elaborate and entertaining answer) Either way, do you use any form of messenger?
