It occurred to me suddenly as i was binging on my show, that some actors, particularily British ones, are like the best jazz musicians. They play with syncopation that same way. And tone and flourishes and all the other jazz great touches. Same thing

I am equally tempted to stay because, well, if LJ loses all outside voices that isnt good for the world either.

It seems a likely place to put this. Discussing actors and their craft. Also this conversation is over so no one need read it.
Today something made me emotional (a song or tv show.) I am an emotional creature. I'm nitro. I couldn't tell you if I'm "in touch" with my emotions but I don't tend to have great control of them. I'm pretty transparent.
I digress. My point is that right after this I was moving on with my afternoon and had to go out. I'm in the bathroom looking at the red puffy-eyes and smeared make-up and...Wow, she's so familiar. I run the cold water over a washcloth and press it over my eyes. I can hear my teenage voice in my head as my councilor marveled, "Wow you don't look like you've been crying."
"Make-up. I've had a lot of practice."

Earth Day?
Day of Science?
Day of Silence?
I think these things would have more impact if we knew about them. imho.
