Pff, you and your objection against DST - it could always be worse.

Recently I saw this - Western European Daylight Savings Time (Greenwich +1hr), Amsterdam Standard Time (Greenwich +20mins) and Central European Time (Greenwich +60mins) - all during one trip.

I think historically there also was a Central European midsummer daylight savings time where two hours were added in 1947 and some form of project in the UK that was abandoned because it would've meant a 10am sunrise in the northern parts of Scotland...

We can see that sort of thing here too. Indiana and Eastern time are only about an hour away by car. Michigan and Indiana really belong in the Central zone, but for political reasons have stayed with Eastern. Consequently the sun doesn't set in summer until nearly 10 pm for them. At this latitude, that's pretty extreme.

I agree, I don't like daylight savings.
Oooh daffs *sits next to the shoots and sings to them to encourage growth, but stops when the shoots go back into the ground* Curses.

Just don't go digging holes around them and they'll be up soon enough. ;p
