I haven't written anything I felt was worthy of publishing for years, but Tuesday, I wrote this and posted it on Tumblr. I got a really positive reaction, so I guess I'll post it here. It was inspired by several songs by The Classic Crime: "Everything," "Just a Man," and "Everything & Nothing."
