Wow, I really loved this! Both Akito and Shigure were wonderfully IC, which makes me especially giddy re: Shigure's part, since so many times, fic-authors get him wrong. (Well, he isn't called "ripples" for nothing, I suppose. XD

Wow!!! *_* That was just... beautiful. I really adored the way you wrote this, but I particularly liked how subtle you made Shigure... you really did a lot of justice to his character. I can totally imagine him admitting in such an indirect way that he knows she's slept with Kureno. And the story he showed her... wow... another indirect way of showing her how much he's hurting.

I wonder if later on Akito would realize what that story really meant... and who it was getting stabbed in the back, sort to speak?

Anyway, I adore your writing. This was really great, and a perfect way for me to end my night. I'm adding this to my memories. I got chills reading this, it was so beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing!!
