Title: Ink
Pairing/characters: hinted Shigure/Akito, if you stand backwards on your head and squint.
Rating: G
Summary: Akito never realized that it was dangerously easy to do with a pen what could be done with family bonds. [There be spoilers.]
(
There are others just as eager to play God. )
Here, though, you characterized him perfectly; we see him as Akito has always seen him: aloof, fine by himself, mysterious. And for a moment, we also get to glimpse beyond the surface, into something very dark and intense; the scene of him giving Akito that disturbing piece of story to read, as well as his cryptic, dark words to her, gave me chills!
Akito's characterization was spot-on, too. I liked her defense of the characters in Shigure's story; it seems like, maybe, subconsciously, she knew that he already knew about her and Kureno, and was perhaps indirectly trying to defend herself. The whole, "You said you'd love me no matter what" and "you can't trick us like that" thing. Don't know if that was intentional on your part, though.
Oh! And the ending was perfect, as well; it really pulled the fic's purpose/message together. ^^ All in all, great job! You should write Shikito fics more often. XD
