This was strange, in that there were no weather issues, no safety cars, very few yellow flags, and yet there still managed to be quite a lot of drama up and down the field. In the end though, the only real surprises were Massa and Vettel driving up to the front from the back, and Lotus doing well while Red Bull and Sauber both had a pretty terrible ( Read more... )

There are a few races that generally don't have much in the way of broader implications for the rest of the season: anything in the first race or three of the season, when cars are still shaking out from the winter; any race when it rains, because rain fucks up everything; and any high-attrition race, like Brazil or Monaco, because out-of-control ( Read more... )
