...my thoughts on the recent, somewhat inept, attempts at terrorizing the British public.

IMO, terrorism just shows that its perpetrators are morally bankrupt and have no valid arguments to advance in support of their 'cause.'
It was reported on the radio this morning that five of the people arrested for the incidents are NHS doctors. You'd think they'd know better, wouldn't you? Assuming they're genuine doctors and didn't buy their credentials on eBay, that is...

Things are going okay. Far too much on my plate, and kind of gearing up for a big day in a couple of weeks. Trying to sort out my house sale, hopefully *before* I have to move. Oh, and the plan for my final dissertation has to be in by Friday. You know, the usual!
Hope you are keeping well.

(Nice to see you - thought you were in terminal hibernation! I'm off to France in the wee hours of Thursday morning - by air - so I am less than pleased with the current state of airport security!!)

Not hibernating quite yet, but the nights are drawing in and Christmas will be here before we know where we are... ::wry grin::
Hope you have a great time in France. 8-) I'm thinking you'll be making an earlier start than usual? 8-( How long are you going for? We're coming over to Manchester at either the last weekend in July or first in August and I'd love to meet up again. 8-)
Thinking on, when Wadj and I went to French City Con in Paris a few years back, there were armed police patrolling Manchester airport then. I was so surprised, I forgot to ask what their weapons were - definitely not P90s! {g}
OTOH, perhaps it was just as well I didn't... LOL!

My plane goes at 6.40. a.m. and even before the current panic they were asking me to check in at 4.40 a.m. Yuck!! There will, apparently, be armed police all over the place and Colin can't just drop me at the terminal - everybody has to go to a car park. I'm going for a 'women only' week with German friends - their holiday home is beside the beach on the coast near Bordeaux.
I'll be back on 14th so I'll be available when you come over. Sitting in the garden doesn't seem like a possibility at present and may just have been a dream in the past, but who knows, the rain might stop!! It would be nice to see you anyway, and if it's really wet we could consider the Hat Museum - not far from Stockport station.

Bordeaux? So, hitting the claret, huh? ;-) Sounds like fun. 8-)
I'd love to meet up again. Sitting in the garden would be good, if the summer got its act together. That was a wonderful day and remains a very happy memory. 8-) Hope you weren't flooded? 8-(
Have a great time, and hopefully, I'll see you soon. 8-)

Oh. I've just noticed you've spelled pandemonium in this post as "panedmonium". Could that have anything to do with it?
If not, my other addy is:
sue (at) imps (dot) demon (dot) co (dot) uk
I am now bouncing up and down wondering what's been nominated. 8-)

I hope I've gone through the categorizing bit correctly - took me well over an hour! I'm an indecisive Libran so making up my mind about where to assign my two nominations took up most of that time. LOL!
Thanks again for your perseverance. 8-)
