I am pretty excited for the state fair, I can't lie. We were going to have a butter Michael Jackson, but people freaked out. Now it's going to be a butter moon landing.

Anyway.

Thanks for commenting, I'm glad you liked it! I was just going to do a butter Kirk (we have butter people from Iowa--Shawn Johnson was our butter person last year) but the story wouldn't work until I realized it had to be the whole crew. Then it all came together.

"You're missing the big picture here, Bones," Kirk said. "Why melted down, the butter used to lovingly sculpt my majestic area would cover 37 tubs of movie theater popcorn!"

"Bones?" called Kirk as McCoy dashed from the refrigerated hall. "Bones, come back! You know, if you keep making that face, it'll stick like that!"

It's the Iowa State Fair. Food on sticks and butter cows. Jim's gonna be excited for this. ;) And when he found out that he was going to be the butter sculpture (the backstory in my head is that they just wanted to do him and Jim was like, "Uh-uh. My crew, too"), it was just all the better.
