I commented on a couple of these posts, so, you know, turnabout's fair play.
The first TEN people to comment in this post get to request a drabble of any pairing/character of their choosing from me. In return, they have to post this in their journal. Nah, you don't have to post this. Although feel free to, of course!

Aww, they are so cute. I love how you get Ainsley talking so much even within the restraint of a drabble. :-D Very them and very cute. Thank you!!!

I want... um... I want... oh! I want something about Neville. Just Neville. No romance, just Neville being Neville, either when he's very young or during his teaching years. :D

Neville loved playing with Dad's wand. Not casting spells--Neville knew he couldn't do that--but making the sparks when he swished it, that was always fun. It made Neville feel good, connected to Dad, like the wrappers connected him to Mum.
"Neville!"
Neville dropped the wand at Gran's voice.
"You know better. That is not a toy," she said severely, picking it up.
"I--I wasn't. I know. I just..." He faltered at Gran's sharp look. "It's Dad's," he finally said.
Gran seemed to soften a bit. "It'll be yours someday, when you go to Hogwarts."
When. But Neville had never done anything magical, not ever. He only had three years before it was time for Hogwarts, and he didn't know what he'd do if he wound up a Squib ( ... )

Yeah, this is funny, I wrote a Dean POV drabble about a movie the last time I did that music drabble writing thing. The song was "Snakes on a Plane," so you know. Had to. Here's the link.
But I am happy to write more Dean fic! The world needs it, frankly. I'm just a bit of a comment whore is all. ;)

I see this as set early early season 1. Also, it somehow seemed to be more about music than movies. Sorry.

All right, Sam'd been staring moodily at the scenery for long enough, Dean decided. "Wouldn't it be cool to have a soundtrack in real life?" he said.
Sam stared at Dean blankly. "Huh?"
"A soundtrack."
Sam tapped the box of tapes with his foot. "What are these?"
"No, I mean, like, movie magic soundtrack. You know, rock music plays when we drive into town, good mood music when we're entertaining the ladies--"
"I don't think The Bad Touch qualifies as mood music," Sam cut in.
"Yes, I'm Siskel, yes I'm Ebert, and you're getting two thumbs up," Dean recited.
Sam rolled his eyes and looked out the window again.
Dean rolled his eyes. He wasn't going to spend the next three hundred miles trying to amuse himself by looking for state license plates while Emo Boy moped out the ( ... )

But if you want something more specific, hmmm... Something with Grey's? Or Digimon, for nostalgia. ;) OR NO, NEVER MIND. MAYBE HEROES? I DON'T KNOOOOOOOOW. CLEARLY I CANNOT DECIDE. I CANNOT EVEN DECIDE WHICH ICON TO USE! SIGH.

Hee, the only thing I could think to do is maybe have a Grey's drabble where they're watching SPN, and that's just silly--
Hmm...
Nah. ;)
Zoe compared Dean and Sam to Dick and Tim, and their father to Bruce. Gyah. Winchesters=Bats, so says Zoe and Katt.
That is not wrong. It's not a perfect analogy, but yeah.
Mwaha, you're so giving in this summer. Yay! :D :D :D

Anyway. Here is what I came up with for you.

"I want to go sledding," Izzie announced.
George glanced out the window. He swore he could see the heat rising from the pavement. Seattle wasn't supposed to get this hot. Muggy, sure. Humid, definitely. But just hot? Not fair.
Izzie snapped her fingers at him, bringing him back. "Sledding, George. I want to go."
George rolled his eyes. "Well, good luck with that, Iz. I hear it's winter in the southern hemisphere. Maybe someone in Argentina will go sledding with you."
"That's funny. You're funny, George. Very funny guy."
It was too hot to even banter, really. "Yeah. Do my best."
"It's hot, George," Izzie ( ... )
