Snowshoes? You have no idea how much time I spent Googling snowshoes and snowshoeing and lodges close to D.C. ;) You know, I think this is the first time I've written WW fic. I hope you like this!

Sam stopped. "You know, I'm beginning to think that Josh was pulling our legs when he said how much fun we'd have."

"You may be right," Ainsley agreed. "It strikes me that Josh, being from Connecticut, would not know much about snowshoeing, or how fun it supposedly is."

"That is an excellent point."

"It strikes me further that I'm a girl from North Carolina and you're a boy from California and traipsing around in the snow is not, for either of us, a natural habitat."

"I concur."

"It strikes me even further that if we head back now, we could spend the weekend in our room instead of out in the cold."

Sam considered it. "You've convinced me." He pulled off his hat. "I'm glad you spoke up now. What if we'd made it outside?"

Ainsley nodded. "What a waste."

He turned around and scooped her up. "Now, what do you think we could do for fun here in our room?" he asked.

She giggled and kissed him. "We'll think of something."
