Hope everyone had a good holiday. In between my niece's birthday, my son's birthday, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day, I overloaded the flux capacitator known as my large intestine and spent the lion's share of the weekend emitting Stovetop-stuffing-scented burps and trying not to puke

Birthday's are good stuff. Especially when it is your lil guy. By the next time I see him I imagine he will have doubled in size.
Lovely to hear that you are happy, you have a beautiful child, a beautiful family life and are a quality person.

If you donate those toys some other tykes will have loads of fun with them.

Holiday was spent in Michigan. Have you visited a place named Pigeon Creek? I went down a wee hill on a bladeless sled and was squeeing louder than any of the wee kiddies. Decades have passed since witnessing snow like that.
And watching the snow fall. Soothing.
