Now everytime i see there's a new fic on and see your name on it, i read it straight away.
You manage to get the characters quite spot on, in my opinion, and in this case they are in their domestic enviroment, living the aftermath of the whole deal, and i wish i could see more of this in the series! So thanks for sharing it!

Only watched the Pilot a couple of hours ago (thanks to amazing people who shared it, i wish i could live in the UK to buy it now!) and you're totally right; it's amazing how a couple of lines, the way they speak, the looks and the smiles can change that much the result of the episode. And was IDK if it was just me, but i think Johnny boy was a little more BA in the Pilot!

Thank you. That's such a nice thing to say. I'm blushing right now. Really. My biggest concern when I write is characterization because I feel the point of fan fiction is plotting out another story WITH the same characters. In order for the characters to be the same, well, they need to be the same, right ( ... )

this is brilliant, I love how Sherlock calls John 'his doctor' at the end. Very sweet and a really interesting slant on the episode.

:) Totally had to steal that from the alternate pilot. It was one of my favorite changes. :) Couldn't just let a recently drugged up Sherlock and a "I got soaked and haven't really changed" John get away with such lax personal care.

Very nice! I thought the differences were kind of fascinating--I liked the version of Study in Pink that aired much better, but I did like Sherlock saying out loud that he had underestimated John--glad you got that in here!

I agree. Utterly fascinating. Goodness, so fascinating. I can honestly say, if they'd aired that, I might've not become addicted to the show. But watching it as a comparison's just fabulous.

:) I loved several parts of it though: same as you, Sherlock admitting, then John claiming to be his doctor, the slightly more evident camaraderie and-- especially-- the charade that Sherlock attempts.

:) glad you liked it.

I read this without watching the un-aired pilot! Then, I watched it and all I could think of at the end was this little scene. I really admire John's acceptance of it all and how he let's Sherlock try to obfuscate him. John's willingness to just humor Sherlock will take him far. Like John pointed out at the end of ASiP, I think we all know who the idiot is here :)

Lovely story, characterizations were spot on and I really love your Sherlock. Great job! I really like your explorations of their budding partnership - amazing.

:) Yay!

I love how accepting John is of Sherlock in the show. Sherlock does something outrageous and John's just like, "Um... yep..." and goes along with it. And I also love how dependent Sherlock becomes within just a few days (or even less according to this pilot) on John's stability and approval. An awesome, awesome friendship; I'm addicted.

Sherlock = social idiot. No idea how to interact so he'll just flail about until he hits the right spot.

:) Am very glad to have created something you enjoyed!
