Thank you. That's such a nice thing to say. I'm blushing right now. Really. My biggest concern when I write is characterization because I feel the point of fan fiction is plotting out another story WITH the same characters. In order for the characters to be the same, well, they need to be the same, right? :)

I love the idea of this John and Sherlock living together because they're just so different and Sherlock, God love him, is such a level of obnoxious. Most of the time, he seems to keep his craziness to one side of the room or to his bedroom but in this, it's just everywhere. I'm in love with it.

John: A head.
Sherlock: Just tea, thank you.
John: No. There's a bloody head in the fridge.

A friend of mine linked me the pilot and I agree. I wish I could own that box set by now but I have to wait until November when they sell it to Canada and I can import it. So annoyed. So sad. And so, misbehaving, and streaming it from websites. And that pilot was so different. Holmes was softer, John was less dark (and more of a kiss ass), Lestrade and Holmes seemed closer and Holmes seemed to respect him more. Donovan wasn't such an ass. The whole thing had a completely different feel to it. I spent most of it going O_O.

What a great study in how delivery changes the meaning of things. As someone who studied theatre for four years, I ate it up. And Johnny was a little more BA in it because HE figured out what went wrong and HE shot the CABBIE through the CHEST.

I jumped when that happened. Spooked.

*stops the rambling* ;)

No no dont stop the rambling! I quite enjoy to write and read those! =)
Really, you don't need to worry about John and Sherlock, you write them down perfectly well; and you are right, that's the whole point of fanwork, at least I don't continue a fic when it feels, IDK, odd or just off what the characters are doing or saying or if there are weird new characters! (maybe i'm just a very demanding, painintheass reader, sorry)

And dont worry about misbehaving, i understand you so well...I live down in Mexico, and have absolutely no hope to even watch the show on telly, and if a DVD store imports it (which i HIGHLY doubt) they'll be selling it in a bazillion dollars (or pesos). Large sums of money i dont have :( So i dont even feel bad about it!

Oh yes, living with Sherlock should be interesting...but i admit, i'm not the patient human being John is sometimes so i'd be moving out fast!

I agree with you. Study in Pink was a bit more intense than the pilot! And though in Study in Pink John figured out as well what was going on with the cabbie, i felt..i dont know...prouder? when he recognizes the change in the situation and keeps an eye out for Sherlock.
I'm a cheater...i kept the volume down on that scene so i wouldnt jump out of the chair!
