I couldn't agree more. Set and setting are so ignored by the trippers I have known that I find it miraculous that they haven't had more bad trips than they have. I prefer to spend time creating the stage for my experience.

DMT is a wonderful entheogen. I prefer ayahuasca, but I do like DMT. Never had a bad experience with it. In fact, the only bad trip I have ever had was on slavia divinorum.

Sabrina and I each have our own room - our own space.

So many people we've met seem to take this as a lack of attachment or regard for each other. Apparently, in a "good relationship", people should be desperately co-dependent and joined at the hip 24-7.

Of course, most people I know can't hold a relationship together for more than 2 years, either.

I really lucked out with my particular initial experimentation, however, and must have been involved with people who were following some traditions handed down by Leary's "acolytes", for want of a better word. They had certain traditions they taught of what you do and don't do, at least until you are used to the experience, and thus it always worked out well for me, no terrible or dangerous imprinting experiences.
