It's not always a good idea to give the exact thing your body needs such as GABA, because there are often ways (sensors?) to let your body know you are getting enough and then your body makes even less. That is why for GABA users, I recommend l-theanine for long term use but GABA for short term use. Precursors,as long as you are getting good conversion works for a longer time. I have no idea if glutathione works the same way or not. I've simply observed it in one system and have never heard of anyone making too much glutathione so that leads me to believe there is some kind of checks and balances going on.

That is why I use undenatured whey plus selenium to allow my body to assemble the glutathione.

I take 500 mg of NAC x2 a day WITH an equivalent amount of Vit. C

Seems to work better than Undenatured Whey.

By "better" do you mean better at increasing your glutathione levels? If so, how are you measuring those glutathione levels?

1 gram of C per day seems quite small to me..
