Are there any songs that bring a tear to your eye?

For instance, I was listening to the radio as Katie dropped off to sleep tonight, and Jim Croce's song "Operator" came on. I was singing along very softly and by the time the last verse came around, I had tears in my eyes. I don't have a personal tie to the song, it's just THAT beautiful.

Besides writing the lovely song Gentle On My Mind, John Hartford wrote and performed many lovely little folksy tunes (my personal favorite is about an old washing machine). He could play fiddle, do the "soft-shoe" (I guess you'd call it that?) and sing at the same time... take a peek!
