I have a copy of "Girl With a Pearl Earring" that I will be starting soon. I'm just finishing "Take Big Bites" by Linda Ellerbee.

Glad you had a good day... and had to laugh about the big dogs who want to be lap dogs. It takes a lot of work to disabuse them of the notion (my GSP every so often does try to climb into mine, but I have to be firm).

They were so incredibly sweet. Pet me! No, don't pet her, pet ME! *head nudge... Ok, MY turn! *head nudge No, she's MINE *bonk... so fun! And their ears are so velvety, you HAVE to rub them. Twas a good afternoon :)

You are so right about those soft, silky ears... Diamond offers hers up. You wouldn't believe the difference between the silky ear fur and the body fur... night and day!
