I haven't read any books since I finished "Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas". I can't quite decide what to do next after reading that lovely story. I SHOULD be doing my taxes ;)
Work is going well - I'm picking up the new stuff, but deeply missing a couple of friends that were let go.
I could easily be a weird cat lady. I have the "weird" part down already ;) We went to a PetsMart yesterday for kitty treats, and there were cages of lovely fluffy friends who need homes. I literally wanted all of them. There were two solid white male cats, and their tag said "owner died". :*(
Katie and I had a nice day yesterday. We went to a friend's house out in the country. The mom and I watched some tv while the girls played. Usually, the other gal has 2 more kids (boys) in the house but they were off visiting. The girls enjoyed playing together, and not once did we hear a "MOM!". They have 3 English Setters, just as sweet as they can be. One (Susie) loved laying with her head on my lap, or snuggled up giving hugs. So cute! I love when big dogs think they should be in your lap!
In our brief family time this week, we saw "Monsters versus Aliens". It was well done and good fun with several "in jokes" for the adults. We were amused by Keifer Sutherland and Stephen Colbert's roles. At last, Colbert gets to be President :)
