I can't read it yet, I'm being dragged to eat pancakes for charity, but I WILL SOON
Cath: dude, we've only known each other for like, a tiny tiny period of time, but you are seriously the sweetest, and so open and giving, and I know this is not exactly commentary on the FIC, which I will give soon ONCE I READ IT :D but hey, it's transcended that and I am severely, superduper touched. gimme your address sometime, I gotta send you something :)
hahah, it kind of got out of control... But in a good way!
YOU ARE SO VERY WELCOME ♥
Eat pancakes for charity? Dude, I want your life. I want to eat pancakes for charity!
NO. OMG. I DIDN'T DO THIS TO GET SOMETHING IN RETURN! You've been really nice to me even in this short time and I just wanted to do something nice for your (BELATED) birthday. I hope you like it :)
There are so many quiet moments I adore, so characteristic of the people we, at least, think they are -- it was very soothing, reading this. And Amber -- she's such a great character to write, and I love your version of her. I think, her being a non-native Chinese girl, kinda makes it easy for the rest of us non-native Chinese girls to take her on, make her more personable/relatable than she could otherwise have been, and it shows :)
I love how Amber just like, eats her way through this whole thing. So adorable <3
Other favorite parts:
When he's done, he lies on top of the bed, staring at the ceiling and the small light. I just really like this. time for contemplation is so undermined in fiction -- for good reason, because I mean, it's difficult to write about some guy, just thinking. but it's so important too.
He remembers the sharp edge of a plane ticket, betrayal and abandonment rolled into one. The state of disarray the room had been in, and how cold it had been.Ironyyyy -- and well deserved! the contrast between how you

I'm so glad you like this! You know what, you should totally treasure this because I AM NEVER WRITING HANBER OR HANCHUL AGAIN. How can you write them? They're so hard to get right. :( I love writing Amber, ngl, she's just this whole new world on her own. I'm glad you liked her in this!
She and Henry are bbfs in my mind, aka. stuffing sweets into their cheeks when no one is looking :|
heehee, I'M SO GLAD YOU LIKED IT! ngl, it's a hard pairing(/ot3) to write but it's interesting to explore their dynamics, in a way. But, uh, no :| once is enough, I will simply cheer on you and your 3bb on from the sidelines because I'm sure you can do this ot3 more justice than I can everSurprisingly enough, the last scene was one of the easiest to write, and I was kind of looking forward to getting to it. Seriously glad you like this enough to say that, sobs. YOU ARE TOO KIND
