I am now officially closer to 30 than 20. I don't know how I feel about that.

 Just finished reading Breaking Dawn - the last volume in the Twilight Saga. It took me 13 hours (with bathroom breaks and eating) to finish the 755  pages of the novel ( Read more... )

 Weird coincidences with Twilight:

1. A week after I read it I had to go to Seattle, WA. Got to experience the "atmosphere" - the rain, the cloudiness, .....
2. When we rented the car, we got a new silver Volvo - usually it's a Hyundai. 
3. There was somthing else, but I can't remember right now.

A couple more notes  about Twilight by Meyer.

1. I've been reading her comments, answers to certain questions and all that - even though I said I wouldn't. :) The one thing she can't seem to understand is why people don't like Jacob Black. In the past 5 days I read all three books in the Twighlight Sage by Stephenie Meyer. I was completely hooked by book 1 and couldn't stop reading until I finished the last book that's out there. I'm just glad that I have to wait only a week for the latest book to come out vs. 2 years I had to wait for HBP to come out after I read Order of Pheonix ( Read more... )

Went to see Ironman and The Incredible Hulk.

Enjoyed both and had a blast telling everyone I know that the Hulk was actually worth seeing and see them go "hhuuuhh????, Really". Their facial expressions were priceless. Both movies are very much character driven with plenty of humor and really good acting.

 Heard from my cousin again - "In Russia, there are almost 100 cases of animals nursing human babies from birth. This one particular case - absolutely amazing - was of a domestic cat that nursed an abandoned baby girl. The girl grew up with the kittens and the cat later taught the girl how to go through trash to find food, meow and all that.  And ( Read more... )
