I started eating breakfast (usually just instant oatmeal) when I started working at the paper in May '05 and kept it up after I quit working there in Oct. '06. And then when I was diagnosed with diabetes last year, I shifted to even healthier breakfasts, cutting out the extra carbs (in the form of toast, which I love, sigh).
Now I have steel-cut oats every morning with either coffee or tea OR plain nonfat yogurt with blueberries and Kashi added. Usually the oats, though -- although this morning I had one of last night's supper pancakes (buckwheat) spread with nonsweetened applesauce and some Smart Balance peanut butter! Nom nom nom...
I guess the point of all this rambling is that YES, breakfast makes all the difference! Once you start it, you just can't stop :)
