Alex's P.O.V
I stood there in disbelief, staring at Zack.
"An orphan?" I asked. He nodded.
"His parents died not too long ago, they were involved in a car crash. Nate was actually home alone that night just waiting for his parents to get back. I actually checked on him and brought him round some of my leftovers from dinner seeing as he probably hadn't eaten. I sat there for a while that night talking to him about his school life and stuff. About how he was moving school cause of bullying" Zack told us. I nodded.
"Yeah he told me that was the reason why he moved schools. Poor kid, no wonder he doesn't have the guts to stand up for himself. After what he's been through" I whispered.
"So whilst I was there, the phone rang and he was washing up his plates so he told me to pick up the phone. When I did the police told me everything and to get Nate down to the police station immediately" Zack continued.
"How did he take it?" Jack asked quietly. Zack let out a breath.
"Well he was just in shock...he didn't cry or anything he was just emotionless. It was horrible" Zack recalled.
"So then we found out that his parents never picked god parents or anything and that all his grandparents were dead. He was left with no one and had to be put into an orphanage" Zack finished. I stood there shaking my head.
"I can't believe this and he hasn't been adopted yet?" I asked in disbelief.
"Apparently not. I actually called to see how he was doing the other day and apparently he got one offer but once they found out he was gay they sort of changed their minds seeing as they thought it might be quite difficult to handle" Zack said quietly. Alex scoffed and slammed his hands on the table.
"Difficult to handle?! What the fuck! I need to speak to Nate now" I exclaimed. Jack now stood beside me and wrapped a careful arm around my waist.
"Baby it's almost 8 o clock, he's probably resting and chilling out right now. Leave him be and we'll see him tomorrow" He said calmly. I pressed my lips into a firm line.
"No, I need to see him now" I said angrily. Zack and Rian now got up from their seats.
"You can't see him now. Visiting hours are closed. You can see him first thing after he comes back from school" Zack told me. I glared at him and then relaxed. I nodded and then Rian came closer to me with open arms. Jack slipped his arm from my waist and now two familiar arms wrapped tightly around them. I nuzzled into Rian's neck and then let go. He held me at arms length.
"You sure you gonna be okay bro?" He asked with a smile. I nodded.
"I'm sure, I've got Jack here to stop me from running over there anyways" I joked. He laughed and looked at Jack.
"Stop him if he does" Rian teased.
"Will do" Jack laughed. Alex now shuffled closer to Zack.
"Thanks for all the information. It's really helped" Alex mumbled. Zack smiled.
"No problem, I would have told you sooner if I would have known that you knew Nate" He told me with a soft smile. I nodded and he wrapped an arm aound my shoulder bringing me into his chest. I wrapped one arm around his toned torso and then let go.
"What's this?! Everyone gets to hug my boyfriend except me?!" Jack exclaimed. I laughed and walked over to him.
"Me and Zack are heading out now well not together but...yeah anyways goodnight" Rian said nervously. I raised an eyebrow and laughed.
"Okay see you guys tomorrow hopefully" I yelled. They nodded and then left the house. I turned around and smiled now wrapping my arms around Jack's neck. His arms slipped around my thin torso.
"Don't worry he'll be okay Lex" He whispered into my neck. I pulled back for a second.
"Lex?" I teased. His eyes opened wide.
"Shit I meant Alex" He replied nervously. I laughed.
"Lex, is that my nickname or something?" I asked teasingly. He looked down now blushing.
"Sort of but you were never supposed to find out" He mumbled. I grinned.
"Stop being so adorable and kiss me" I ordered. He lifted his head and pressed his lips to mine. We kissed for a while till we heard a door slam shut but it wasn't from my house.
"Whoa, Rian likes slamming his doors huh?" Jack teased. I chuckled and then walked to my front door seeing if Rian had just left his house or something but I saw something I was not expecting. I leaned the side of my door and I suddenly felt Jack hovering over me doing the same. We both stood there in shock. Zack and Rian were standing on Rian's porch standing too close to each other. They looked like they were saying goodbye.
Zack was nervously rubbing the back of his neck and then suddenly Rian's hands took Zack's and he then slowly pressed his lips to Zack's for a second and then parted. Zack smiled and then said bye before walking off completely content. I shot my head back quickly forgetting Jack was there and tumbled back on top of him. I shut the door quickly with my foot and then turned around to straddle Jack's hips.
"Oh my god" I whispered. Jack just stared at me with his big eyes. He couldn't believe it either. I scoffed.
"I never thought I'd see the day when Rian turned gay" I mumbled incoherently. Jack scoffed.
"Rian? What about Zack?! The guy is the manliest guy I've ever known and was disgusted when I told him about anything relating to my sexuality! I mean not offensively but you know!" Jack exclaimed. He shook his head in disbelief and laughed.
"Who knew seriously" He muttered. I laughed.
"Oh my god this really is just...." I didn't know what to say anymore.
"We're so confroting them about this tomorrow" Jack said. I chuckled.
"After we see Nate though" I mumbled. He nodded and wrapped his arms around my waist securely.
"Yes after we see Nate" Jack assured me with a smile. I smiled back and pressed a kiss to his lips.
"So, how does round 2 sound to you?" Jack said seductively.
"Twice in one day? I don't know Jack" I teased, running my hands down his bare chest.
"Such a fucking tease" He hissed down joining our lips and lifting himself up with me hooked around him.
