Two Heads

So this is actually two ideas of mine merged into one: Cuddy and House in couples therapy (!) and yet another take on Moving On.

Here's the premise: What if Moving On was exactly the same, except for three things:
a. Cuddy didn't go out with that dweeb. (Because. . .really Cuddy?)
b. House brought the brush over by himself. (No Wilson waiting in the ( Read more... )

Lol, love Ivy, good job, doctor! ;)

I love these moments without them saying a word but know each other's minds, it's beautiful.

Wow! This is just so brilliant. I love how we are privy to the therapist's thoughts also--she is not just a cardboard cutout without a soul as they are often portrayed in the movies.

Wish TPTB would have hired you to write s7! But no matter, we can just read your stories. Keep 'em coming and thanks for sharing.

I need a part to to this. Like yesterday. I especially need to know what House said to Cuddy when they were leaving.

In case you didn't know, this all means I liked it. :)

*Grins* Not sure even I know what House said to Cuddy in the hallway! But they were definitely inside their little cone of intimacy when he said it!

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS FIC IS PERFECT.

Ivy describing House/Hugh's sexiness? ACCURATE.

Loved hearing what Cuddy/House each thought their problems with the other were. And the ending? Beautiful.

"I miss everything about her."
THAT'S THE THING THOUGH, I know he does and she does him and it will never be reconciled because Greg Yaitanes/David Shore and co. suck ballz. /end rant.

This made me so happy because it sad everything I know is true about this ship.

Your fic, although not canon, proves why they had to be so severe by desconstructing their characters.....because it's been proven time after time (pun completely intended) that they WOULD be on again and off again. She wasn't flawless with her reasoning to initiate the break-up, not completely, (NOT that I'm taking his side) nor would she be flawless in a complete execution OF it. She's got like Stockholm Syndrome when it comes to him in some ways....strong or not he's an addiction. Awesome read!

I know. I mean, the writers really went to EXTREMES to convince us that House and Cuddy weren't going to be together again: House getting married, House crashing into her house.
(It's like, okay, okay, we get it already, they're done.)

I do wonder though, how the show would've managed to bring them together, even just as friends, in Season 8 if LE had renewed her contract. What House did to Wilson in Season 4 wasn't quite as unforgivable, but it was still pretty bad. . .and they managed to find a way to organically reunite them.

I suspect they would've almost had to have House save/help Rachel in some way (as I wrote in After the Fall, and I assume tons of other fic writers have also written). . .That would've been the only realistic way for House to get back into Cuddy's good graces. Now we'll never know. Sigh. (And that's why I keep on writin'...)

p.s. it's been proven time after time (pun completely intended) cute. ;)
