This was fabulous, lady!
Your House, especially, is quite in-character, there was really only one spot that felt a little 'off' to me (“Christ, do I really sound like that?” House asked. - would House say 'Christ', first off...I'm not sure he would, but then, it is hard to come up with a good interjection that isn't that - and it seemed a bit too 'honestly asking' a) for House in general, and b) at that point.)
I do love how you have House drop his defenses, though - he does do that, sometimes rather unexpectedly, and man is he heartbreaking when he does. The roleplaying was a fabulous way to do that ( ... )

(Plus, it was weird enough having Cuddy be "Lisa" throughout this fic. Greg would just be too much!! I couldn't deal.)
The "Christ, do I really sound like that?" part . .. I can hear it in my head. (Kinda.) He was sort of teasing her. I think part of House thought it was cute that she was imitating him like that.
And yes! SecretlyVulnerable!House is my favorite House of all. He makes an appearance in all of my fictions.
Anyway, thanks for reading, critiquing, general fabulousness.
